The tour was over after breakfast today. I decided to spend my free day today walking the Appian Way and touring Aquaduc Park. I gathered what I would need for the day and headed out about 10 am. The map made it look simple, but I ended up getting lost and walked around for 2 hours. I finally found the Appian Way road. I spent all day out exploring, headed back to the hotel to rest, pack, eat, then head out at dusk to photograph the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain in the twilight. Tomorrow, I fly home. What a GREAT trip!
