After completing the Rick Steve's Southern England tour which ended in Bath, I had decided to tack on the 14 Day Best of England tour since the schedule happened to be back-to-back. The timing was ideal. It gave me an opportunity to visit Bath on my own on Saturday after the previous tour ended. I had through Sunday afternoon to explore on my own. The weather was pleasant and I took full advantage of my free time. Two of my tour mates from the Southern England tour were also participating in the 14 Day Best of England tour and I ran into them several times during my free time. I opted to stay in the same hotel since that was the hotel scheduled for the Best of England tour. It was very convenient. All the sights I wanted to see on my own were easy walking distance from the hotel.
