After dreaming about going on a Rick Steves tour, I finally decided to commit! England, here I come! Once I reserved my spot on the South England Village trip (6 months in advance)  the fun really began. I researched all the places we were going to visit both in Rick Steves' guidebooks as well as internet searches. I planned my extra days to see things that were not part of the trip, made my reservations, created my own diary to record my thoughts and impressions of the trip, booked my flight and made my packing list. I am a notorious planner. I searched google maps to locate the grocery stores in each town we were staying in so I could pick up picnic supplies as we traveled, researched the hotels to verify internet access ( won't have a phone with me, only my Kindle Fire), and practiced packing so I could get everything in one overhead roller bag  (as Rick Steves suggests) and one shoulder bag for under the seat. I planned to bring clothing for 4 days and wash as I go. My most important items were my cameras, extra lenses, flash, batteries, chargers and memory cards. My souvenirs will be my pictures. Also, don't forget your  electrical adapters!

To navigate, click on the arrow buttons at the bottom of each page, left side to go back, right side to go forward. Or, click on "Let The Tour Begin" in the menu bar, move your cursor down and each day will appear. Click on the day you wish to view.

To view a larger picture option, click on the picture and it will expand. Just navigate by clicking the left or right arrows. To close the window, click the "X" in the upper right-hand corner. Easy!
