Glencoe
Day 7 and today we leave Inverness to travel through Glencoe and on to Oban. The sun was shining when we left Inverness. We drove past Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle and then the clouds came in. By the time we got to Glencoe, it was misty and raining. We stopped to see the Three Sisters (3 mountains) but we couldn't view them because of the mists. We headed to the ski area to ride the ski lift up the mountain and have lunch. Liz let us decide if we wanted to travel on the ski lift as it was raining. Some decided to go and wore trash bags over their clothes to stay dry. The rest of us watched as they went up and had our soup and sandwich. The trip up the mountain for those who went lasted about 45 minutes. Once they returned, they had their soup and sandwiches, then we were off to Oban.
