Isle of Mull

We were able to sleep in a little this morning. Breakfast wasn't until 7:45 am and we didn't have to meet our ferry to the Isle of Mull until 8:55 am. It gave me a chance to have a relaxing morning packing for the day and have a leisurely breakfast. After breakfast, Liz met us out front of the hotel and we walked to the marina to catch the ferry. The ferry was crowded and we headed up to level 4 so we could get a good view. As we traveled to Mull, we passed Duart Castle. The trip only took about 30 minutes and we got off at Craignure. Liz told us to hurry to our coach so we could depart before all the other coaches and beat them to our next ferry stop in Fionnphort. We boarded our coach. Our driver was Rich and he was full of wonderful stories! He kept us entertained! The Isle of Mull has rolling hills, rivers and Hairy Coos-the Highland cow. It took about an hour to cross the island and reach Fionnphort where we would get on our ferry to Iona.
