Hermitage
After leaving the Crannog Center, Liz took us to the Hermitage. It is a nature area where you can hike. When we arrived, we looked at the posted map of the area, then headed out on the trail that follows the river. It is so lush and green compared to what I see back home in Colorado. Liz talked to us about the plants and trees we saw along the way. At the end of the trail was a surprise-Ossian's Hall (built in 1757) and Black Linn Falls. The River Brann flows over the falls. Just outside Ossian's Hall, you can cross over the River Brann on a stone bridge built in 1770. It was beautiful and peaceful!

As we drove from the Crannog Center to The Hermitage, we passed Scotland's version of a campground. Americans are not the only ones that like to hit the road with their tent or camper!
We have arrived.
Liz takes my picture in front of the falls.
