Day 6 of my Scotland adventure and we were up and out by 8:00 am for our coach ride to the ferry at Loch Ness and a visit to Urquhart Castle. Everyone was on time, we did our "buddy check" and we were off. We crossed the River Ness on our way to the Loch Ferry ride. It was a beautiful ride and we paralleled the Loch most of the way. We were on one of the first ferries of the morning. We boarded at 9:00 am and headed out onto Loch Ness. It was cold and the wind was really blowing. I am so glad for my purchase of the alpaca scarf in Dunkeld! Unfortunately, no Nessie sightings.
