We ended our day in Inverness, arriving around 4:00 pm, our home for the next two nights. John gave us a brief coach tour of the town, then we headed for our hotel-The Glenmoriston Town House. It was across the street from River Ness. It was a wonderful location-near the center of town. We were given two hours to settle in and we met Liz at 6:00 pm for our walking tour of town and our group dinner. Our restaurant was called Mustard Seed. It was a very busy place, but we had reservations and were seated right away-another perk of a Rick Steves' tour. We enjoyed great food and lively conversation. Then we were free for the rest of the evening to visit a pub or walk along the river back to our hotel. I chose to turn in early so I walked back to the hotel along the river. So peaceful. Tomorrow will be another full, exciting day!
