After our delightful Derwentwater boat tour, Jamie took us on a 2 hour walk along the lake. The hike was mostly level as it followed the shore line, but there were some places where we passed a cattle field to continue. It was quite muddy in places which made continuing a challenge. The hike was beautiful. We stopped in several places to get a view and pictures of the lake and trees. We headed back to Keswick on our own. Fortunately, the sun came out and we did not get rained on. In fact, I warmed up and had to take off my layers of sweater and jacket. I really enjoyed the hike.
