14 Day Best of England 2016
Snowdonia National Park
After leaving Caernarfon Castle, we drove back to Conwy through Snowdonia National Park. River Conwy runs through the park and there are numerous waterfalls. The mountains in the park are 3,000 feet tall, which seems short for me-being from Colorado, but here they seemed huge! It took us about 45 minutes to drive through the park and there were cars parked along the road everywhere. This must be a very popular place for hiking! Ian stopped so we could take some pictures on our way back to Conwy. It was cloudy, but did not rain on us.
