14 Day Best of England 2016
Caernarfon Castle
After visiting Gareth Jones' sheep farm, we took the taxi back down to where our coach was parked and we headed for Caernarfon Castle. We were suppose to take a steam train ride to Caernarfon, but for some reason we didn't. The drive only took about 30 minutes and we got to pass through beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
Caernarfon Castle was build by Edward I 700 years ago to establish his rule in North Wales. Edward would stay at Caernarfon during his visits to Wales. This is the location where the Prince of Wales has been "invested"-given his title. Prince Charles was invested here in 1969.

Saying good-by to Caernarfon Castle as we head for Snowdonia National Park and back to Conwy! It was a great visit!
