14 Day Best of England 2016
Bodnant Gardens
As we left Conwy, we headed for Bodnant Gardens. Bodnant Gardens was founded in 1874 and has developed through five generations of the same family. It was gifted to the National Trust in 1949. The garden spans 80 acres of hillside. It has formal Italian Terraces, Shrub Borders, The Dell, a gorge garden and waterfall. New areas that have opened are the Winter Garden, the Old Park Meadow, the Yew Dell and The Far End, a riverside garden. It is a beautiful place to visit. We toured the Garden on our own and had about 2 hours to explore. I needed more time-there is just so much to see! Sadly, I didn't get through it all.

The coach park was across the street from the gardens, up a small hill. Ian did a great job of parking in spite of the hill. We walked under the road to the entrance.
Enough said.
The sign speaks for itself. Always have change!
