After leaving Grasmere, it was a short drive to Keswick-only about 30 minutes. Ian took us directly to our hotel-the Crow Park Hotel. It looks like a beautiful old mansion turned into a hotel. My room was 2 flights up-glad I packed light! We were given about an hour to settle in, them we gathered at 6pm to meet Jamie and take a brief walk of the tiny town. We walked to the restaurant and headed upstairs (take-out was downstairs), were seated, and we all had fish and chips with mushy peas. It was the best fish I have ever had! I also really liked the mushy peas-some didn't. Sticky toffee pudding was desert and it was so yummy. Whenever it is on the menu, I am going to get it!!
